Andrea Corr
Andrea Jane Corr MBE is an Irish singer songwriter musician and actress. Corr along her fellow members Caroline Sharon and Jim, made their debut with the band as The Corrs' lead singer in 1990. Andrea Corr, an Irish singer, musician and songwriter is one of the Corrs. She was awarded the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire award. She is best known for being an integral part of the Celtic pop and rock group The Corrs. She is a musician on a range of instruments, and sings for The Corrs. Andrea was first introduced to acting in 1991. Then, she was an accomplished actor and musician on stage. She performed as the voice in The Quest for Camelot, an animated Warner Bros. cartoon film released in 1998. Andrea is truly a multi-faceted artist. She has six studio albums, two compilation albums as well as two live albums along with one remix. Additionally, she has earned recognition for her charity work. Andrea's stockbroker husband and two children belong to her. Andrea began music lessons learning the tin flute. Gerry was her teacher at the time she started learning the piano. Andrea also is a musician on the ukulele. She spent her teenage years improving her musicianship skills. She worked alongside siblings and brothers in order to sing for the group. Andrea frequently performed in school's productions. She was a student at Dun Lughaidh Convent.
